What you’ll need:
- Construction paper
- Paint brush
Step one: Take a piece of construction paper fold it in half 3 times. This should make 8 smaller rectangles. Then, cut the smaller rectangles apart. You will only need 6 of them.
Step two: Make one more fold to create a square, then cut off the excess paper.
Step three: Keep the paper folded in half and make cuts that are even on both sides, but don’t let them meet. If you do it will cut part of the snowflake away.
Step four: Open the paper up and place a paint brush in the very center. Roll one side of the paper over the paint brush and add a dab of glue, then roll the other piece over it.
Step five: Turn the paper over and do the same thing on the other side with the next layer. Keep doing this until you finish with all of the layers. Do this for each piece of paper (remember you only 6).
Step six: Once you have finished with each piece of paper, it is time to glue them together at their base. This gets a little complicated when you get to the last 2, just gently push the other pieces aside.
Step seven: Once they are all glued together glue each “petal” to the other in the center (it will look something like an X)
